Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Server to oversee our breakfast service and ensure a quality dining experience for our guests. As a Breakfast Server, you will provide excellence in guest satisfaction with the highest food quality standards and service. You will also prepare food and beverages for the breakfast function and maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and dining areas.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Arrive on time, ready to work in a clean uniform and nametag.
2. Prepare and set out all hot and cold breakfast items until the last minute of service.
3. Ensure all foods are kept at safe temperatures.
4. Keep all tables cleared and cleaned throughout breakfast hours.
5. Receive and unpack items from food vendors, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
6. Greet guests as they arrive for breakfast, assist with service, and replenish coffee as needed.
7. Build rapport with guests, solve problems when able, and report any complaints or issues to management.
8. Learn about the hotel's guests through conversations and pass on any sales leads to management.
9. Maintain a clean breakfast area, store food, and remove all trash. Take trash out to the dumpster as needed. Vacuum and clean carpet.
10. Continuously look for cost-effective ways to improve breakfast appeal.
11. Assist in maintaining safety equipment and emergency procedures for the safety of all guests and employees.
12. Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous manner at all times.
13. Perform all other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications And Requirements
Minimum of 1 year’s work experience in serving and/or the food and hospitality industry is preferred. Special consideration will be given to those who exhibit exemplary performance. Must be efficient and thorough.
Strong Interpersonal And Customer Service Skills Are Required.
Strong oral communication skills are required. Must be energetic, possess good time management skills, and be eager to grow and develop as part of a team. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
