Norwood Sawmills is a worldwide leader in portable sawmills and is looking for a creative Brand & Social Media Lead! With a deep understanding of content quality and consistency, enhanced community engagement, influencer relationship management and Ad Hoc design work, you will be able to unleash your creative marketing skills. You will gain knowledge of our products, target market and media outlets that will allow you to be successful within your role.

A typical day for a Brand & Social Media Lead at Norwood:

  • Execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the brand’s objectives to promote growth YoY.
  • Create, schedule, and publish content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Develop and implement strategies to encourage community participation, including regular posts, interactive content, and community events.
  • Oversee and grow the company’s Facebook groups, ensuring active and engaged communities.
  • Moderate group discussions, ensuring adherence to community guidelines and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Assist in identifying, recruiting, and managing relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of influencer partnerships, suggesting adjustments to strategies as needed.
  • Develop written content, including posts, captions, and blogs, that are engaging and aligned with the brand’s tone and style.
  • Curate user-generated content and partner content to share on social media channels.
  • Support the team with graphic design tasks, such as creating social media graphics, banners, and other marketing materials.
  • Align social media efforts with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for social media content, campaigns, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and sales, to ensure a cohesive brand presence across all channels.
