As we continue to scale, we are seeking to expand our team with a dynamic Brand Marketing Manager.

Position Overview

As an experienced and result-oriented Brand Marketing Manager, you are to lead and execute large-scale user acquisition campaigns. If you have a proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns, possess a strong sensitivity to data, and are passionate about the entrepreneurial spirit of a growing company, we invite you to join us in building brand awareness and driving aggressive KPI growth.

You will play a pivotal role in planning and executing acquisition campaigns, and be the marketing expert to be consulted on the local consumer preferences, product positioning, and industry trends. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of global stocks or is personally a savvy investor who understands the investment mentality in Canada.

This role requires a high level of collaboration with our headquarters and global offices. You must be a team player and are comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams including paid ads, KOL marketing, branding, content marketing, and product management. Occasional meetings outside standard working hours may be required due to time zone difference with global teams.

Responsibilities

Branding: The Brand Marketing Manager works within the Branding and Content team, taking responsibility for crafting and executing annual brand plans and long-term strategies. This includes shaping local brand positioning, communication, and creative strategies, all in alignment with the overall marketing plan and company objectives.

Partnerships: You will work closely with local media, channels, and external partners to promote our marketing campaigns and increase brand awareness and reach. In this role, you will act as a bridge between internal and external key stakeholders across the organization.

Collaboration: You will collaborate with the global branding, content, marketing, sales, product, and design teams to create compelling marketing materials and content for branding campaigns. These materials will align with business goals and marketing propositions, ensuring that the content is of high quality and effectively reflects our brand image.

Analysis and Trend Awareness: You will conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and industry trends. You will also analyze marketing performance and brand metrics to optimize strategies and improve the company's brand awareness. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform content direction and brand positioning.

Creative Mindset: Possess a strong creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table. You will take the initiative to drive projects forward and proactively seek new opportunities for growth and innovation.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant brand marketing experience, with a proven track record of executing successful branding campaigns. Experience in financial services or related industries is preferred, and startup experience is a strong plus.
  • Partnership Experience: A proven track record of working with local media, channels, or vendors. You should have established connections with local media, influencers, partners, and other external stakeholders.
  • Market Expertise: A deep understanding of the Canadian market, including knowledge of local financial services industry players, consumer behavior, and trends.
  • Capabilities: Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
  • Startup Mindset: Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to ambiguity and pivot quickly. Comfortable working across geographies and time zones.
  • Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Bilingualism is a plus; candidates fluent in English, Chinese, or French are preferred.
