Brand Manager (Premium/Luxury Brands)
Mississauga, ON / Full-time (Hybrid)
Pay Range $106,186 - $141,582
Your responsibilities
Ensures 100% execution and strategic consistency of all brand marketing activities in Canada, including co-op activities with trade or distribution
Co-develops annual Brand marketing plans in accordance with brand strategy and overall BSH business strategy or business plan
Manages given Brand marketing budget in accordance with approved plan
Optimizes marketing communications over time by analyzing marketing ROI
Monitors sales & market trends, researches regions and consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify key market opportunities and key issues
Develops marketing concepts that further strategic and tactical brand and sales goals, including cost-benefit analysis of proposed activities
Directs all Brand oriented marketing projects in cooperation with Trade Marketing, Digital Marketing, Showroom Marketing, and Product Marketing
Develops clear competitive positioning and marketing story for each actively marketed Thermador and Gaggenau product. Creates and implements matching marketing activities
Directs internal and external creative agencies in the creation of brand marketing assets. Works with all other areas of marketing to ensure proper execution along all points of the Consumer Journey
Maintains frequent communication with regional and global brand teams to align on planning and share content
Prepares competitors' brand communication analysis based on market analysis for the identification of marketing communication potential
Directs media agency/planners in the development of efficient annual media plan for consumer and trade advertising. Evaluates and optimizes proposed media plans
Directs and manages trade shows, consumer shows, marketing events, etc. in conjunction with the trade show/event marketing manager and external agencies
Communicates with internal and external constituencies, keeps informed and collects feedback
Reviews and evaluates non-media brand marketing opportunities such as product integration and sponsorships
Further develops and optimizes e-Marketing activities, in conjunction with the e-Marketing manager
Manages PR activities for the 2 brands, working with external PR agency to achieve relevant KPIs
Internal Corporate Communications lead and crisis management (as required)
Performs all other duties as assigned
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree (Marketing) – Required
+10 Years of Experience (Brand Marketing) – Required
5-7 Years of Experience (Media and PR Relations) – Required
Experience in selecting and directing external agencies (advertising, media, PR) to achieve marketing communications goals
Experience with production methods, including broadcast, print and digital
Advanced understanding of advertising and media strategy, with a demonstrated history of successful campaign implementation
Extensive experience in evaluating creative concepts against strategic goals
Demonstrated project / program leadership skills
Strong business sense and ROI orientation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
Ability to interact with multiple levels of management essential
Ability to interpret marketing strategy and apply it to marketing communications
The intercultural flexibility to work effectively within a global corporation
Extensive experience in developing effective PR campaigns that align with marketing objectives and achieve KPIs
Experience integrating various marketing activities to align with brand marketing objectives, including trade marketing campaigns, digital marketing, events and other marketing communications
Bilingual (French/English) is Preferred
Travel Percentage – 10%
