The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Branch, including the management of assets.

Responsibilities
The Branch Operations Manager directs warehouse activities for the company by performing the following duties personally, or through subordinates:
You are passionate about Operations Leadership, Health & Safety and Developing a professional Branch Team – you lead by example;

You foster a Safe & Healthy Workplace Culture- to ensure the health and safety of our employees and our customers. You enforce all work and safety rules in order to ensure compliance with federal and provincial law, OSHA Regulations, and distribution center operations policies & procedures;
Directly manage the Assistant Branch Operations Manager and branch teammates in the warehouse and delivery operation;
Lead recruiting/on-boarding activities including interviewing, hiring, training;
Plan, assign and direct work as required to meet the deadlines and targets of the branch;
Instill and maintain a customer service oriented philosophy in all conduct of self and subordinates;
Follow operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current;
Make recommendations for improvements to procedures;
Responsible for all monies collected from customers as well as petty cash and will call funds;
Ensure cash management, replenishment, bin locations, returned merchandise and inventory errors are processed according to company standards;
Manage the safety and maintenance repairs for delivery vehicles; Ensure safety procedures are followed and makes recommendations regarding safety issues.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of three years of supervisory/management experience including coaching and performance management;
Must have a minimum of one year of cash handling;
Minimum 3 years’ class G driving experience required and must maintain a clean driver's abstract;
Maintains a professional appearance and follows the customer service philosophy of the Company;
Must be available Monday to Friday as well as alternating Saturdays;
You are a self-starter, are reliable and are a team player - Experience working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills;
