WORLDPAC Canada is seeking a Full-Time Branch Operations Manager – (Red Deer, AB)

WORLDPAC, a subsidiary of Advance Auto Parts, imports and distributes original equipment and quality replacement automotive parts to select specialty import and domestic service centers.

About the Position:

The Branch Operations Manager directs warehouse activities by performing the following duties personally, or through subordinates:

  • You are passionate about Operations Leadership, Health & Safety, and developing a professional Branch Team – you lead by example;
  • You champion inclusion – you hire a diverse workforce to support our customers;
  • You foster a Safe & Healthy Workplace Culture to ensure the health and safety of employees and customers;
  • Directly manage the Assistant Branch Operations Manager and branch teammates;
  • Lead recruiting/on-boarding activities including interviewing, hiring, and training;
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to meet branch deadlines and targets;
  • Instill and maintain a customer service-oriented philosophy;
  • Follow operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments;
  • Make recommendations for improvements to procedures;
  • Responsible for all monies collected from customers;
  • Ensure cash management and inventory errors are processed according to company standards;
  • Manage the safety and maintenance repairs for delivery vehicles.

What you bring to the team:

  • Minimum of three years of supervisory/management experience;
  • Minimum of one year of cash handling experience;
  • Minimum 3 years’ class 5 driving experience required;
  • Maintains a professional appearance and follows the customer service philosophy;
  • Must be available Monday to Friday; possible alternating Saturdays;
  • Reliable team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills;
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED.

Physical Demands: The employee must be able to walk, stand, and sit. The employee is required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to keyboard; reach with hands and arms; stoop and crouch.

Work Environment: The employee works in a branch/DC and office environment and is occasionally exposed to caustic chemicals. The noise level is usually moderate.
