Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000 Annual

We are seeking an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can inspire a high performing team. As a Branch Manager, you would be responsible for leading, directing, managing and overseeing the overall physical security operation within the Vancouver, BC area.

Job Summary: The Branch Manager in Physical Security is responsible for driving the business growth and operational excellence of the branch. This role involves leading a team of security professionals, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to achieve business objectives. Our ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial with a deep sense of ownership and who thrives on writing the next chapter for our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a culture of employee engagement and servant leadership.
  2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the branch's client base. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  3. Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their security needs and concerns. Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication and service quality assessments.
  4. Operational Oversight: Ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively, meeting all security and operational standards. Oversee scheduling, payroll, and resource allocation.
  5. Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  6. Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Address any security incidents promptly and effectively.
  7. Financial Management: Manage the branch's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Monitor financial performance and implement measures to achieve financial goals.
  8. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, security incidents, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
  9. Management of Regional Account Managers: Oversee and support regional account managers and operational support staff to ensure they meet their targets and maintain high standards of client service. Provide guidance and mentorship to help them succeed in their roles.
  10. Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in physical security, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  3. Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and proficiency in security technology and systems.
  4. Certifications: Relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are preferred.
  5. Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
  6. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and financial management.
  7. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Customer Service: Commitment to providing high-quality service to clients.
  9. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement business strategies.
  10. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
