As a Studio Fitness Instructor, a typical day might include the following:
- Arriving to the club 10 - 15 minutes prior to the class beginning.
- “Checking-in” at the front desk.
- Chatting with members getting ready to participate in class (being receptive to music suggestions, being aware of clients who have injuries and require modification, etc.).
- Welcoming members to your class, introducing yourself, and getting them excited!
- Conducting class with enthusiasm and motivation.
- Remaining 10 - 15 minutes after the class to connect with members and obtain feedback.
To land this role you need to have:
- Certifications or workshops relating to fitness and health.
- 1+ years of experience as a studio fitness instructor is advantageous and preferred.
- A recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
- All team members must have current CPR/First Aid certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment.
