Job description

Position: Pharmacist
Site: Bowser Pharmacy
Location: 112 – 6996 Island Hwy W, Bowser BC
Job Type: Regular, Full-Time
Pay: $65-$75 Hourly

Pharmacy Hours:
Mon–Fri: 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sat: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Sun: Closed

About the Role
Mint Health + Drugs is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you'll mentor and lead a dedicated group of healthcare professionals, ensuring exceptional patient care and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree
  • Licensed with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia in good standing
  • Current CPR Certification Valid in British Columbia
  • Drug Administration by Injection is an asset
  • ISTM is an asset

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense drugs
  • Assess new and repeat prescriptions
  • Consistently apply medication management principles
  • Educate patients on medication use
  • Document and maintain accurate records
  • Oversee and mentor pharmacy staff
  • Promote healthy living and immunization programs
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints
  • Communicate with customers and other healthcare professionals

Experience & Skills

  • Ability to adhere to regulatory compliance
  • Strong organizational and operational oversight skills
  • Expertise in medication management and patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in managing pharmacy inventory and financials
  • Knowledge of Kroll system is considered an asset
