Our GM dealership in Renfrew is recruiting immediately for a Bookkeeping-Accounting Clerk. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday in the dealership.

Responsibilities:

• Process automobile sales
• Process accounts payable, receivable and general ledger transactions
• Prepare daily cash deposits
• Reconcile and audit general ledger accounts
• Maintain filing systems
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Perform general office procedures as required

Qualifications:

• Certificate or diploma in bookkeeping or business administration
• Accounting or equivalent work experience
• Previous work in accounting at a dealership would be an asset
• Working knowledge with accounts payable and receivable
• Payroll knowledge and experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and pay attention to details
• Comfortable with meeting strict deadlines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
