Bookkeeper - Part Time
Job description
Arcona Developments Ltd is looking for a Bookkeeper for their construction company based near Bunclody, Wexford.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completing Payroll
- Processing of subcontractor & supplier invoices
- Monthly subcontractor & supplier payment runs
- Posting of Supplier & Sub Contractor payments to accounts system
- Monthly creditor & debtor reconciliations
- Updating suppliers information
- Communicate with suppliers & customers regarding invoices, credit control and other account matters
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Vat Returns, P30 returns and RCT returns
- Monthly balance sheet journals, prepayments, accruals, payroll & depreciation
- Preparation of management accounts
- Assist with cash flow projections & review
- Preparation of year-end closeout, journals & year-end audit
Requirements:
- 2 years experience working in a small-medium enterprise (to include bookkeeping and accounting duties)
- Relevant third level qualification/ bookkeeping or accounting technician qualification
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in working with financial systems (training on software used in the office will be provided)
- Experience in using Revenue online and proficiency in excel
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards
- You will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, highly accurate with good attention to detail and with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
