Reporting to the Vice President of Governance and Legal, the Board Coordinator plays a key role in the effective operation of the Board of Directors and its Committees, acting as a bridge between the Board and the Executive team.
The Board Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support, including meticulously preparing and distributing meeting agendas and materials, coordinating logistics, and maintaining precise records of minutes and decisions. This includes the ability to coordinate all meeting logistics, ensure accurate and timely distribution of materials, and support the development and implementation of board policies and procedures. Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail are essential to ensure that all board processes adhere to governance protocols and corporate policies.
Additionally, the Board Coordinator will facilitate effective communication among board members and between the board and the organization, including drafting and distributing official correspondence. The Coordinator’s ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion will be important in fostering smooth and effective communication within the Board members and the Executive team.
As a key liaison, the Board Coordinator will ensure the smooth execution of Board activities, contributing to the overall success of WCB by supporting the effective functioning of the Board and its Committees. WCB offers a competitive compensation package including a salary range of $56,896 – $71,053.
