Position Description:
The Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for applying principles of behavioural psychology to support students in overcoming communication, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges that represent barriers to their academic success and sense of belonging at school. The BCBA will join the Inclusion Division at Learning Services to provide district and school level support for students who have difficulty self-regulating and demonstrate challenging behaviours. The BCBA will conduct functional behaviour assessments, support the design, team training, and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support plans (PBS), and assist with site-specific safety training for school personnel. Additionally, the BCBA will be involved in the educational programming for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
This position is from September 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 with the possibility of an extension. As this position does not work over the summer months, this position is considered a part-time position with an annual FTE of 0.8.
This is an exempt position and as such is not eligible for overtime and it is not part of a Union.
Work Year: 10 month (September 1 to June 30)
Hours: 40 hours/week, minimum 8 hours per day

Annual Salary Range: $64,255.52 - $80,320.22
