POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for handling all aspects of import shipments from pre-arrival to billing. Dealing directly with clients and operational staff in a friendly, considerate manner. Lumber experience is a plus.

QUALIFICATION SECTION:

The ideal candidate will be well qualified in the following areas:

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. One to two years of brokerage/office experience

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Release and classify basic import shipments
2. May be assigned additional tasks
3. May be assigned or cross-trained in duties similar to current duties
4. Stays up to date on Customs and procedure changes
5. Actively pursue new sales leads and discuss and sell our various services with current clients, sending information timely to manager or other designated person
