Focus

The Production Manager is responsible for the overall management of Inspired Greens manufacturing.

Key Accountabilities

1. Lead the efficient and effective production of fresh cut value added vegetable products.
2. Coordinate and interact with other departments (Sales, Inventory, Maintenance, HR, etc.).
3. Create, report, and follow up on KPIs.
4. Support production & procurement staff to ensure proper production flow.
5. Accountable for ensuring labor and yield targets are met.
6. Responsible for all production planning and scheduling.
7. Enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment.
8. Supervise a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, delegation, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, and termination.
9. Analyze departmental operations and identify areas requiring improvement.
10. Develop strategic performance metrics and targets consistent with company goals.
11. Ensure employees have clear goals and are aware of expectations.
12. Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, and formal evaluations.
13. Handle customer complaints and comments.
14. Maintain shift schedules to ensure sufficient employee coverage.
15. Maintain appropriate documentation regarding regulated products and hazardous materials.

Education and Experience

1. Degree or diploma in a related field is an asset.
2. Two years of experience in a leadership role, and four years of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
3. Proven experience with resource management.

Working Conditions

1. Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
2. Frequent overtime.
3. Interaction with employees, management, customers, and the public.
4. Hours may be irregular and in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
