Bilingual Portfolio Specialist, OperationsThe Bilingual Portfolio Specialist role is a hybrid (remote and in-office) role that is primarily responsible for administrative functions within the department, including but not limited to the administration of incoming insurance coverage, the support of the CSR phone reps and collectors by assisting with paperwork/forms as required as they relate to insurance, and the processing of inbound written requests from internal/external customers with respect to insurance. They will ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to all customers. They will also participate in team/cross-functional initiatives and other duties as required.
Day to Day- Respond to insurance inquiries and resolve insurance issues.
- Verify proof of insurance, update customer database, and manage internal and external claims.
- Monitor the portfolio ensuring that our insurance requirements are being met, contacting customers for proper documentation when necessary.
- Place customers on our forced placed insurance program when necessary.
- Ensure that the team goals are met including turnaround time.
- Ensure liability insurance is obtained from end users on identified risk portfolios.
- Open and process all insurance correspondence (mail, email and faxes) which includes, identifying the specific contracts, review correspondence; enter all pertinent insurance information into database.
- Communicate with agents, customers and dealers/vendor as required to resolve insurance coverage issues.
- Record and review all insurance cancellation requests and pursue contract to ensure our interests are secured by renewed insurance policy or placement of account on our insurance program.
- Issue insurance credits as necessary.
- Ensure turnaround time is met, advise Manager if it is in jeopardy.
- Participate in department and cross-functional initiatives.
- Other duties (general office) as required.

Essentials- 1-3 years of insurance and/or leasing experience.
- French/English bilingual is required.
- Customer service experience an asset.
- Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self-directed, decisive and goal oriented. Comfortable working independently.
- Strong relationship building skills / team player.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Experience in leasing/finance a strong asset.
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work from home remotely/independently and in a virtual team environment (in office requirement of 2-3 days/week aside).

Applicable pay range: $50,626 - $75,939
