CDW is looking for an Associate Network Analyst to join its Managed Services NOC team. Your background should have exposure to a variety of technologies including networking, security, virtualization, servers and storage and public cloud. Excellent customer service while solving problems should be a top priority for you. CDW is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment so to be successful you’ll need to be a pro-active individual, take direction well, communicate succinctly and collaborate effectively.
What you’ll do
Support
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a multi-customer NOC environment with 24/7/365 coverage
Work with ticketing and monitoring systems
Technical support areas include: networking, security, virtualization, patching, servers and storage, and public cloud
Collaborate with teams internally and externally
Respond to alerts and action or escalate as required
Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot, repair, or replace hardware
12-hour Shifts are on a rotating schedule to cover 24/7 operation
Operations
Follow ITIL practices regarding incident, problem and change management
Perform administration on network devices, security appliances, servers, storage, hypervisor, and cloud.
Document and update technical procedures, administrative processes, configuration management database
Patching customer environments
What you need to succeed
Must-have
Bilingual English and French
Experience with ticketing and monitoring systems
Understanding of Windows, Linux, networking, storage, and basic security technology
Ability to complete security clearances
A combination of; technical training from a college or university, equivalent industry experience (1-2 years), or technical certifications from industry vendors (e.g. CCNA, MCT)
Ability to work in a 12-hour rotating shift environment
