The Role: in Mississauga office 5 days

The Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator performs a range of HR administrative and coordinating duties in support of the HR function for their assigned client group(s). The duties include day-to-day support for benefits administration, health and safety, disability management, HR Compliance, vendor correspondence, and special project support.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivates a positive experience for employees by managing day-to-day inquiries for benefits, health and safety, leave of absence, and related areas.
  • Administers benefits enrolment, changes, terminations, invoicing, reconciliation, administration, and general inquiries.
  • Coordinates with our 3rd party leave management vendors to ensure accurate service levels, reporting, data tracking, communication, and employee follow-up.
  • Assists with research, and response preparation for basic legislative inquiries and/or claims.
  • Supports HR leadership through active participation in meetings and other project assignments.
  • Identifies emerging issues or trends and escalates for HR Implementation and Compliance Manager.
  • Supports with regular audits of internal processes and records to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to support organizational goals and compliance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bilingual in French and English mandatory.
  • Degree in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Disability Management, or equivalent work experience. Postgraduate diploma or certificate in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of HR experience, ideally in retail, sales, or multi-unit operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to personal growth and continuous improvement.
  • High level of personal integrity and a positive, supportive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently with support.
