Reporting to the National Human Resource Manager, the Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a key role in supporting branch operations by providing HR expertise across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, benefits administration, and employee engagement. This role collaborates with the HR team to implement initiatives that foster a positive work environment, reduce turnover, and ensure compliance with provincial and federal legislation.
The HRBP is also responsible for supporting HR technology initiatives, maintaining accurate employee records, and contributing to continuous improvement projects to streamline HR operations. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication are key to succeeding in this role, ensuring timely completion of documentation and strategic support to the branches.

Job Duties
- Provide timely HR support on all HR-related matters.
- Partner with branches to enhance HR’s relationship with field operations through continuous communication with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, benefits, HRIS, and employee engagement.
- Champion HR programs to foster a culture of employee engagement and build a positive work environment to help decrease employee turnover.
- Provide guidance on the creation and implementation of HR processes and policies.
- Develop and implement reward and recognition initiatives to increase employee engagement.
- Participate in HR team meetings to provide updates on key issues in your region.
- Provide HR support to other branches nationally as needed.
- Ensure onboarding and supporting documents are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of legal requirements to ensure compliance within your region.
- Provide expert advice, coaching, and mentorship on best practices in HR processes, particularly in employee benefits, onboarding, recruitment, and termination.
- Support and enhance HR technology initiatives to streamline HR activities and improve overall efficiency.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and projects that benefit both the business and HR operations within the organization.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment, promoting company culture, and maintaining high morale in the offices you manage.
Qualifications
- Must be fluent in both French and English
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, or a similar degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources
- CHRP designation or working towards your designation is a must.
- Knowledge of Canadian Employment Law, Provincial Employment Standards, Ministry of Labour Regulations, and Canadian Human Rights
- Well-rounded expertise in all areas of Human Resources, including employee benefits, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and termination.
- Excellent people management skills
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Technologically savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft and Google platforms. Previous experience with ADP HRIS is preferred.
