Bender

Job Type: Full Time, Temp-to-Perm

Compensation: $28.01-$29.05/hour

They are seeking a Bender to join their growing and dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock such as channel, I beam and structural steel as specified
• Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order
• Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift
• Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running
• Bend materials according to instructions or blueprints as required
• Ensure stocks/inventory of needed materials are always ready and available
• Follow all plant safety guidelines, practices and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in operating forklifts and overhead cranes is considered to be a very strong asset
• Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Must possess a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
