SUMMARY
This position oversees the daily operation of the bell stand and transportation department, and ensures the best in guest satisfaction. It is the responsibility of this position to ensure all bell staff present a 4 Diamond image in manner, dress and verbal communication. This position will perform the functions of bellperson or transportation at any time needed.

This position requires the associate to possess excellent guest service skills with a high energy level. Individual should possess good oral and written communication skills as well as be detail oriented. Associate should have the ability to supervise many different types of personalities and situations. The needs for quickness and ease of adjustment to the work environment and flexibility to change are essential to this position. Must be informative and deal effectively with guests and employees while being friendly at all times.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining employees. Attends meetings as requested. Communication with other managers and supervisors of the resort are essential to the proper performance of this position. The ability to have a positive attitude and to only make positive comments about any area of the resort is essential to the success of the company.

The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work well under pressure is a must. Must be prepared to listen to any guest complaint/problem, and help solve it. Must be able to effectively handle stressful and compromising situations while remaining focused and professional. Must be able to deal with difficult people without losing perspective. Must be able to work productively under strict time restraints with variable deadlines.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position will require working indoors and in outdoor conditions encountered in Northern Michigan; cold, heat, dry, wet, wind, cloudy and sunny conditions. Individual may have to cope with varying noise levels and driving conditions. Must practice all safety policies, procedures and standards as set by OSHA.
COMMENTS
Native American Preference will apply. Must be able to pass a background investigation and a Drug Screen as a condition of employment. Must be able to work flexible hours and take on additional responsibilities when asked. Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality.
