Tasks

1. Arrange the bar area to make attractive displays
2. Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar
3. Clean bar area and wash glassware
4. Serve food or snacks
5. Advise on wine selection
6. Provide recommendations on drink selections
7. Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment for beverages
8. Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock
9. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
10. Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages
11. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
12. Resolve conflict situations
