Barista/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that each guest has an enjoyable experience. Duties

1. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
2. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
4. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
5. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies.
6. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food preparation and handling.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

1. Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
2. Strong cash handling skills with experience using POS systems.
3. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
4. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
5. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
6. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
7. A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
8. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $16.75-$22.14 per hour
