RED Mountain Resort is seeking an enthusiastic Bar Person to join our team for the 2025 Summer Season! As a Bar Person, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong work ethic.
The anticipated start date for this position is June 2025, ending in October 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
Present menus, describe daily specials, and answer questions about menu items.
Take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff accurately.
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to restaurant standards.
Upsell additional food and beverage items to enhance the dining experience.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and provide refills or additional items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Process payments and handle cash/credit card transactions in a timely manner.
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation policies.
Work collaboratively with team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma.
1-2 years’ experience as a Server.
Must be over 19 years of age.
Valid Serving it Right Certification.
Valid Food Safe Certificate.
Physical And Other Requirements
Able to lift 40 lbs.
Able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
Able to carry stock up several flights of stairs.
Available to work evenings and/or weekends.
