Bar Manager for new White Spot location

As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar’s operations. This includes creating a welcoming environment, mixing traditional and seasonal beverages, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

As the Bar Manager, you are responsible for:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
2. Manage inventory, control costs, and handle ordering of all bar-related supplies
3. Monitor and ensure consistent quality in all drinks served
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

Requirements

1. Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Lead Bartender, or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry
2. Strong knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume service
4. Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
5. Serving It Right accreditation
6. Must be able to work 35-40 hours per week
7. Must be able to arrive at YVR by 3am from time to time (no public transit available until 5:15am) and be able to work late nights (no public transit available after 12:45am)
