Welcoming all people who appreciate the CRAFT of baking! Are you a Professional Baker? Freson Bros., an Alberta-owned and operated fresh food retail chain, invites you to apply to our Bakery Department as a Baker in Hinton, Alberta (Hinton Hill Location).

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the basic principles of bakery preparation, various baking methods, and food safety regulations
• Experience with pre-ferments: levain, poolish, sponge
• Comfortable working early morning and weekend shifts
• A passion for providing an exceptional customer experience
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and multi-task
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Measure, mix, scale, knead, hand-shape, and score bread
• Bake traditional bread and bakery products
• Operate bakery equipment (i.e. commercial mixers, rack ovens, proofer, bread slicer)
• Adhere to quality, cleanliness, and merchandising standards
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Handle customer service inquiries and provide a positive customer experience

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Location: Hinton, AB (Hinton Hill Location)

Wage: $18.00 - $25.00 / hour
