Trouw Nutrition is seeking Bagger/Warehouse Workers to join our team in Westlock, Alberta.

About The Role: You will perform warehouse operations and bagging duties, while also supporting other roles within our production team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machines and computer systems to produce animal feed in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding production targets.
• Maintain documentation for Food Safety and adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards.
• Conduct quality checks and perform physical and NIR testing on ingredients and finished products.
• Assist in housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Participate in cross-training to effectively perform various roles within the production team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a grain facility, mill or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Class 5 driver’s license is an asset.
• Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Expectation from the Role:

• Full-time position with shift work rotation and overtime as required.
• Ability to work shift work is required.
• Mon-Fri Shift schedule: 6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 10pm-6:30am, rotated weekly.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Ability to regularly bend, twist, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions, including loud sounds and dust.
