Join a dynamic team, at our championship golf course, that is on the frontline of delivering an exceptional guest experience.

POSITION: BACK SHOP ATTENDANT (student)

HOURS OF WORK: variable up to a maximum of 36.25 hours per week (must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings)

LOCATION: Upper Canada Golf Course (11 km east of Morrisburg)

SALARY: $17.20 per hour

PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: May to September 1, 2025

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO DO IN THIS ROLE?

You Will
  1. Greet guests.
  2. Clean washrooms, interior and exterior of clubhouse area, back shop, rentals and members’ clubs.
  3. Clean and refuel golf carts.
  4. Pick the driving range clean of golf balls.
  5. Help pro shop attendant when necessary.
  6. Work with minimal supervision.
  7. Work safely at all times and report unsafe activities immediately to your supervisor.
  8. Embody the SLPC’s equity, diversity and inclusion principles while interacting with staff and guests.
HOW DO I QUALIFY?

You Have
  1. Knowledge of golf and customer service skills.
  2. The ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  3. The ability to work within a team environment to ensure the smooth running of the entire Pro Shop operation (both inside and outside).
  4. The ability to learn all safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal, guest and fellow staff safety is maintained at all times.
