Azure Data Architect

Responsibilities:

• Proven ability to create analytics solutions that meet a wide variety of client value needs using the Azure Data Platform services
• Deep understanding of end-to-end data operation solutions and processes
• Proficiency in one of the following: T-SQL, Python, PySpark, and familiarity with U-SQL
• Experience owning client relationships, delivery of complex solutions, and ability to support pre-sales solutioning
• Strong understanding of data modelling fundamentals in structured and semi-structured environments
• Strong understanding of Azure Data Platform services infrastructure requirements
• Proficient with Git / ADO for version control and collaboration

• Have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience across the advanced analytics space

• Have proven experience running multi-million-dollar projects and you enjoy interacting with clients and building strong relationships
• Act as a steadfast mediator between the business and the team, possessing masterful negotiation and relationship-building skills and can communicate priorities and expectations clearly and concisely, remaining open to team opinions, while also being confident in making decisions
• Transform business needs into robust technical solutions using modern data engineering techniques
• Design and implement data architectures to facilitate advanced analytics
• Develop data-driven solutions to empower decision-making
• Ensure data accessibility and governance for routine analysis and strategic business moves
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a reliable data supply chain
• Create trusted relationships and bring thought leadership to our clients
• Own the responsibility for technical delivery to our clients
