As a key member of the Quality Control team, the Airworthiness Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that company aircraft remain compliant with all regulatory requirements, airworthiness limitations, and maintenance requirements:
Your responsibilities:
- Monitor new/revised Airworthiness Directives (AD).
- Monitor changes to applicable Aviation Regulations.
- Create and maintain aircraft regulatory compliance templates.
- Monitor manufacturers' maintenance requirements.
- Notify stakeholders of changes affecting the fleet.
- Facilitate TCCA issued Flight Permits.
- Ensure weight & balance amendments and Equipment List are created/amended as required.
- Assist Technical Records with maintenance tracking questions.
- Track newly added items for each aircraft.
- Load aircraft and major components to assure compliance.
- Monitor engine trends and implement corrective actions.
- Complete Reliability reports for DHC-8 and submit them.
- Complete Utilization reports for DHC-8 and CRJ aircraft.
- Assist Planning departments with maintenance tracking questions.
- Produce reports related to aircraft undergoing maintenance.
- Create and submit Service Difficulty Reports (SDR).
- Create Annual Airworthiness Information Report (AAIR) and submit it.
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
- Completion of an Accredited 2-year Aircraft Maintenance college course.
- Must hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License.
- TCCA Flight Permit Authority Delegation is required.
- ACA privilege is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
