We are seeking 3 motivated and experienced Aviation Machinists to join our vibrant and expanding team.

THE ROLE:
As an Aviation Machinists, you will play a key role in the inspection, repair and overhaul of aircraft components. Our state of the art technologies will give you the opportunity to work in an environment that is exciting, dynamic and fast-paced. Work is performed onsite on our Richmond site.

  1. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operations to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations.
  2. Fit and assemble aviation specific machined metal parts and subassemblies using various tools and processes according to H-S Tool & Parts best practices.
  3. Read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  4. Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to troubleshoot maintenance problems.
  5. Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  6. Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor.
  7. Maintain H-S Tool & Parts standards ensuring all standards are current and adhere to compliance requirements.
  8. Investigate and report on non-conformances.
  9. Use precision measuring equipment to ensure that aircraft components are processed to meet the requirements of OEM specifications.
  10. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery used in the machining process.
  11. Maintain detailed records of work performed.
  12. Stay up to date on new technologies and processes.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 3 years’ work experience as a machinist.
  2. 1 years’ experience in an aviation specific role.
  3. Experience with all relevant machinery including: lathe, mill, and grinder.
  4. Security and Background check required.
  5. Exceptional verbal and written English.
  6. Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition, ability to comfortably lift 50-100lbs.
  7. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
