Overview:
Take 5 Oil Change Cornwall is a Quick Lube shop that is growing fast and seeking new candidates!

We are hiring for the role of a Lube Technician and are looking for a hard working individual with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic automotive maintenance tasks and providing excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain valuable experience in the automotive industry.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience we expect from our Automotive Service Technician:

  • Have basic automotive knowledge, Experience preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs. safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance services on vehicles.
  • Inspect vehicles for additional repair or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed.
  • Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive repair or maintenance preferred.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
  • Familiarity with dealership procedures is a plus.

Starting wage will depend on experience as well there is a bonus program for qualified applicants.

Licence/Certification:

  • Drivers License (required).
