We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair, ensuring that vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, utilizing both mechanical knowledge and schematics.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment for repairs, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle components and parts.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Uphold high standards for quality of work while ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably with an SGI inspection licence.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
