Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems
- Follow repair manuals and schematics to ensure accurate repairs and installations
- Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues or maintenance needs
- Keep accurate records of all repairs, services, and maintenance performed on vehicles
- Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and repair manuals
- Experience working in a dealership or automotive service center is preferred
