Automotive Service Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. The Automotive Technician will work with various tools and equipment, ensuring all repairs are performed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
2. Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
3. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
4. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
5. Conduct routine maintenance checks and services on vehicles.
6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
7. Communicate with customers regarding repair needs, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop environment.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
2. Strong mechanical knowledge.
3. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for automotive repairs.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics accurately.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
6. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
