Automotive Service Technician

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and maintenance, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and excel in customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
2. Diagnose vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic equipment.
3. Weld, assemble, and maintain automotive components.
4. Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical information to non-technical customers.
5. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively.
6. Lift heavy objects as needed during repairs.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
2. Proficiency in automotive repair techniques and procedures.
3. Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.
4. Strong mechanical skills with the capability to weld, assemble, and maintain vehicles.
5. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
6. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for automotive repairs.
7. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required.

Preferred Skills:

1. Prior experience in automotive repair or maintenance.
2. Familiarity with a wide range of vehicles and their systems.
3. Knowledge of power tools commonly used in automotive repair shops.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$41.05 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
