Tasks:

1. Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
2. Discuss work with supervisor
3. Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
4. Review work orders
5. Test automotive systems and components
6. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
7. Repair or replace mechanical units or components
8. Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
9. Perform scheduled maintenance service
10. Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
11. Complete reports to record problems and work performed
12. Provide customer service

Transportation / travel information: Valid driver's licence
