Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support throughout their experience. Your expertise in automotive repair and customer service will be crucial in guiding customers through their service needs while effectively upselling additional services when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive at the service department.
• Assess customer needs by listening attentively and asking relevant questions about their vehicle issues.
• Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, ensuring customers understand the benefits and costs involved.
• Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition, enhancing their overall experience.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Manage customer records, including service history and payment transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, contributing to the overall professionalism of the service department.

Experience
Ideal candidates will possess:

• Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of building rapport with clients.
• Mechanical knowledge or background in automotive repair is advantageous for effective communication with technicians and customers alike.
• Sales experience is beneficial, particularly in upselling products or services related to automotive care.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
