Job Overview
Are you ready to put your expertise in vehicle maintenance to the test? Join our Auto Repair facility as a Service Advisor and become the vital link between our customers and our skilled Technicians. This role will allow you to expand your skills in customer service, office management, and sales, all while helping customers understand their vehicle's needs and guiding them toward optimal maintenance.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Estimate repair costs and time for a variety of services
  • Welcome customers and discuss their vehicle needs
  • Respond to customer inquiries in person and over the phone
  • Develop accurate repair estimates, factoring in material, supply, and labor costs
  • Prepare detailed repair orders outlining vehicle issues and solutions
  • Connect customers with the appropriate Technician for their specific needs
  • Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs are completed successfully
  • Maintain comprehensive dealership records, tracking issues and corrective actions taken

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Customer Service Representative, or in a related automotive role.
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
  • Experience in sales or customer service environments.
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and relay it to customers in simple terms.
  • Comfortable using management software and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Ability to empathize with customers and handle complaints professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail in documenting customer information and vehicle issues accurately.
  • Comfortable upselling additional services and products that benefit customers.
  • Ability to work effectively with Technicians and other staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Bonus pay

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Automotive repair: 1 year (required)
  • Automotive Service Advisor: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In person
