Automotive Service Advisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support throughout their experience. Your expertise in automotive repair and customer service will help facilitate effective communication between customers and our technicians, ultimately contributing to the overall satisfaction of our clientele.

Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the service department.
• Assess customer needs by asking questions about vehicle performance and issues.
• Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, ensuring customers understand the work being performed.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and recommendations.
• Right-sell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
• Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Skills

• Strong background in customer service with a focus on building relationships.
• Experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven sales skills with an ability to upsell services effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $70,000.00-$91,824.25 per year
