Automotive Service Advisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, guiding them through their automotive service experience. Your mechanical knowledge and sales skills will be essential in providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a blend of technical understanding and outstanding customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

1. Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive at the service department.
2. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate automotive services or repairs.
3. Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers, ensuring they understand the work being performed.
4. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
5. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
6. Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and effective communication with customers.
7. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and follow-up communications.
8. Address any customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner to enhance customer satisfaction.

Experience

1. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
2. Proven track record in cash handling and sales within an automotive or retail setting.
3. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
4. Experience in upselling automotive services is a plus.
5. A background as a mechanic or in automotive repair is advantageous but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
