Summary

We are currently hiring an experienced Service Advisor to join our service team at Airdrie Auto Haus!

We are looking for a personable service advisor to act as the liaison between our customers and service technicians. The Service Advisor greets and consults customers on service needs, asks thoroughly about customers' concerns regarding their vehicles, and sells services by emphasizing value and safety.

Key responsibilities include keeping customers updated on services, fielding all live service calls, and taking ownership of the customers’ experience by carrying out additional assignments that leave a lasting impression.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and listening to requests
• Scheduling appointments and estimating quotes
• Ordering and sourcing parts
• Ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective service
• Driving the sale of technicians' time to meet customer needs and safety
• Prioritizing required services and providing options upon request
• Keeping customers informed on completion times, estimates, and possible changes
• Ensuring a positive shop experience for customers
• Answering questions regarding the customer’s vehicle
• Understanding automotive technology and the automotive industry

Maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.

Requirements

• Verifiable customer service performance required
• Exemplary customer service skills are a must
• Previous Service Advisor experience is required (1 year minimum)
• Computer skills
• Valid driver's license
