Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting Skills: Diagnose and resolve issues with inkjet printers, including mechanical problems, ink flow issues, nozzle blockages, and software-related challenges.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Work with the mechanical components of inkjet printers, such as print heads, ink delivery systems, conveyor systems, and other related equipment to ensure proper function and efficiency.
- Electrical Skills: Utilize a basic understanding of electrical systems and components (wiring, sensors, control panels, and circuitry) to identify and resolve electrical issues that may arise within the equipment.
- Computer Literacy: Operate computer software and interfaces related to inkjet coding systems, including printer control software, coding software, and production line management systems, to ensure seamless integration and operation.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to maintain and improve the performance of inkjet coding systems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with inkjet printers or similar industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities, with practical knowledge of inkjet coding systems and related equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematic drawings for setup, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of personal accountability in meeting deadlines and ensuring quality results.
- Valid Ontario driver's license required for travel to customer sites or service locations as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and management, ensuring clear understanding of technical issues and solutions.
