Job Title: Automation QA/SDET

Location: Halifax, NS (Thrice a Week Onsite)

Job Description

Must-have

Good knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC, QE and DevOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, QTest, HP ALM etc.), and Defect Management processes for application testing, development and support with hands-on experience in creating test cases, executing manual/automated test cases.
Database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, IMS) and SQL experience.
Experience in test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Robot Framework, SoapUI or ReadyAPI, Postman, and Selenium WebDriver) and development languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL server stored procedures, etc.).
A degree/diploma in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years in a QA/test environment focusing on technical, automated testing in various environments (Cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases).
Knowledge of Testing Methodologies with hands-on experience on various testing tools.
Experience in Micro Service testing and API testing.
Strong problem-solving, design, and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, test automation vision, and leadership skills for innovation.
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Tools such as Jenkins, GIT, etc.
