With 11 OEM certifications, including Tesla, this high-performing shop will serve as the central hub for piloting groundbreaking initiatives and streamlining processes. Our mission is to drive growth, enhance performance, and simplify operations across the CSN network.

Primary Objectives of the Auto Body (Collision Repair) Technician:

• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed.
• Thoroughly examine collision damage including the complete vehicle exterior body parts, check all power accessories, and identify any prior damages overlooked on the QA checklist.
• Perform structural and complete body repairs: Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components.
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment; hammer out dents and defects.
• Welding on vehicles using MIG welders and compression spot welders.
• Dismantle damaged areas to identify hidden damages early in the repair cycle.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, apply primers and repaint surfaces.
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
• Restore vehicle to factory specifications: Return the vehicle back to factory/OEM specifications.
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive for proper handling.
• Read and understand estimates and automotive repair procedures.
• Work with a variety of metals, plastics, glass, electrical, and mechanical parts.
• Experience using frame and measuring equipment.
• Experience with disassembly and reassembly of vehicles.
• Follow standardized production processes.
• Be a great CSN ambassador.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications, Experience and other requirements:

• Auto Body Repair and refinishing experience - 3+ years required.
• Technicians with I-Car and OEM certifications are favorable.
• Must have I-Car Welding certification.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs, stand, sit, walk, and reach.
• Valid Driver's license required.
• Up-to-date Compliance Training, such as AODA, WHMIS, and Workplace Violence and Harassment.
• 3 to 5 years of working knowledge of Mitchell/Audatex.
