Infant Hearing Program
Casual Position
7.5 hours per week for 9 weeks

Compensation Range: $43.59 – $51.28/hour

Position Summary:

ErinoakKids is currently seeking an individual to support the Infant Hearing Program (IHP). This individual will be primarily responsible for work related to making ear impressions for ear molds for hearing aids and will report to a Clinical Services Supervisor. Travel between the ErinoakKids sites may be required. Counselling families, as required, and maintaining proper documentation and health and safety practices as outlined by ErinoakKids and the IHP are required.

Qualifications:

1. Membership in good standing with the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario (AHIP) OR Registration with College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to deal effectively with infants and children, parents, and staff
3. Experience with pediatric ear impressions, ear mold fitting, and hearing aid fitting
4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
