Your Opportunity: We are looking for a Fall Intern for an 8-month contract to work alongside our DRE Mobile team. This position is open for candidates in Vancouver, Canada, or those preferring a remote/hybrid arrangement. As a team member, you'll report directly to the DRE Mobile Technical Director and engage closely with our internal partner development teams to enhance their engineering journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement internal CI/CD improvement initiatives
  • Maintain build automation pipeline with the team
  • Collaborate with partner teams to expand and maintain build infrastructure environments
  • Identify gaps/toil within build & automation workflows and implement automated scalable, reliable and repeatable solutions
  • Monitor and address automated systems issues

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in computer science or engineering
  • Exposure to object-oriented/scripting languages (e.g., C#, Java, Groovy, Python, Ruby)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with source control management tools (e.g., Perforce, Git)
  • Knowledge of virtualization environments and tools (e.g., VMs, vSphere)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to collaborate
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities
  • Willingness to learn and apply new concepts, principles, and solutions

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g., Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e., freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

PAY RANGES

The hourly pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k).
