What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world's most famous and well-loved fashion brands? We are looking for an Associate Designer to join our growing team in Montreal.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research trends, colors, and mood board creation
- Create detailed technical drawings and color cads using Adobe Illustrator.
- Create styles and tech pack in PLM.
- Help with sampling and daily communication with vendors on samples status.
- Document all information about the samples (the number of samples received, where the samples are shipped, etc.)
- Fill and organize samples.
- Work on proto comments, fabric/lab dips approval.
- Prepare samples for buyer meetings, presentations.
- Send samples to vendors and the sales teams.
- Assist the team with any related tasks.

- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge in the apparel industry
- 2+ Years of experience is required
- Diploma in fashion design is required.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Knowledge of PLM is an asset
- Experience in creating technical drawings
- Bilingual (French/English); English is necessary for this position since the person will work daily with overseas factories and will need to present sketches and send communications and information to clients outside of Quebec.
