Description:

The Department of Economics at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in Economics. The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach undergraduate courses in the Department of Economics at UTM.
  2. Become a full member of the Graduate Department of Economics at the St. George campus.
  3. Undertake graduate teaching and supervision of doctoral students.

Qualifications:

  1. PhD degree in Economics or a related area.
  2. Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching.
  3. Established international reputation in the field.
  4. Evidence of research excellence through high-impact publications and contributions.
  5. Strong endorsements from referees.
  6. Excellence in teaching demonstrated through teaching accomplishments and a teaching dossier.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
