About the Role

We are looking for an Associate to play a key role in executing and managing direct private equity investments. The position offers significant responsibility, high exposure both internally and externally, and the opportunity to develop your career in a mentorship-driven environment with a flat team structure. You will gain hands-on experience with all aspects of the investment process, from due diligence to exit.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Investment Evaluation: Evaluate new business opportunities, conduct market research, and support due diligence efforts.
  2. Financial Analysis: Build and maintain financial models to support valuation conclusions and assess debt financing options.
  3. Due Diligence: Drive market and operational due diligence activities, analyze competitive landscapes, and develop investment theses.
  4. Capital Markets and Financing: Collaborate with lenders and equity investors to gain support for debt and equity investment financing.
  5. Portfolio Company Management: Monitor existing investments and contribute to strategic development of the portfolio companies by working closely with their management teams and board of directors.
  6. Reporting and Investor Communications: Take an active role in fundraising by overseeing the development of investor materials and managing ongoing reporting materials to meet investor requirements.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  1. CPA or CFA designation is strongly preferred.
  2. 1+ years of professional work experience in Investment Banking / Corporate Finance, Corporate Development, or Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence.
  3. Robust financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  4. Proficiency with business software (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and analytical tools.
  5. Excellent communication skills, including an ability to distill complex concepts into clear, concise insights.
  6. Ability to manage projects under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  7. Demonstrated business acumen and sound judgment.

Compensation

Salary of $80,000 - $100,000, plus an annual bonus.
